At first I thought that Ice Cream and Gelato are the same and that they are just called differently. I was wrong since I found out that there are some components that made them different.
Here are some of it for your info:
After Noel and I finished our Brunch at Old Spaghetti House last Saturday (read related story here), we decided to have a dessert and try the nearby stall that sells Gelato and Cake. The name of the store is CARAMIA.
With just one look on the gelato at their shelves you will know that it looks yummy!
If you are not into ice cream, then their Gelato Cakes are best for you… Look at this!
I ordered this Mango symphony cake. A slice cost P95.00 but it’s all worth it since one slice is good for 2 people and it really taste good. The mango chunks at the top is so sour so it’s better combined with the gelato nestled and graham crust.
My husband Noel also enjoyed the Strawberry Supreme he ordered. A scoop cost P70.00. There are strawberry chunks in every scoop which makes it more enjoyable to eat.
We will definitely go back here to try the other flavors of both their Gelato and Cake.

All along, I thought a gelato and ice cream were the same 🙂
I’m dying to have one right now! It’s just so hot!
