Gone were the days when people had to wait to get out from the SLEX or NLEX to look for fast food chains or terminal to have a bathroom break. I am happy that in this modern age, there are a lot of gasoline stations inside the Express Highway where in we can use to have a bathroom break. Unfortunately, not all bathrooms are clean and sanitized even though you are required to pay for every usage.
Unilever Philippines, through leading toilet brand Domex, has partnered with Pilipinas Shell to provide travelers and motorists heading north and south of Luzon access to clean, hygienic toilets. The clean up drive will be done at 11 Shell outlets in expressways and other major areas in Manila.
I was one of the media people who witnessed this partnership which was held at Muntinlupa Shell Station along SLEX last Thursday.

Unilever Philippines is providing six (6) months worth of Domex products for proper toilet sanitation of Selected Shell gas stations.
The clean up drive is part of the 1 Million Clean Toilets program, an advocacy of Unilever through Domex to empower and inspire Filipinos to properly clean their own toilets with the right product in an effort to reduce getting diseases related to lack of proper toilet sanitation.
I already did my part by Liking the Domex Philippines Fan page and clicking Pledge. I hope you do your own part too. For every pledge received, Unilever Philippines donates P5 to Unicef’s Sanitation program which helps thousands of people get improved access to basic sanitation.
