Last Wednesday, I was one of the witnesses of the partnership of Russell Hobbs and Chef JP Anglo for Mood Food Cookbook. It was held at Top Shelf Fully Booked BGC.
Here is a little background – Russell Hobbs is a UK brand that is the global leader in small kitchen appliances. Celebrity Chef JP Anglo is one of the judges in Master Chef Philippines and who sits at the helm of Sarsa Kitchen.
The Mood Food cookbook compiles mouthwatering recipes for every kind of emotion and ambiance that can easily be done in a compact, modern kitchen. The cookbook also showcases how simple recipes can become gustatory delights that can enhance the mood and the whole dining experience at the comfort of one’s home.
During the event, Chef JP cooked some meals using Russell Hobbs kitchen appliances. It looks easy to do that even a noob in cooking like me can handle.
After that, we were asked to try some of the dishes included in the cookbook. We did the lechon kawali on Russell Hobbs Purifry to make the skin of the pork crispier while the meat juicier and somehow healthier.
Co-bloggers and I also made yummy strawberry/watermelon shakes on the easy to operate Russell Hobbs blender.
Cheers!!!
While Chef JP, signed the Mood Food Cookbook of some of the press people, a raffle was made and I was lucky that day to have won a Russell Hobbs Allure Mini ‘Ball’ Chopper (around 3K to 4K pesos).
I like to have the Purify and the Panini maker next time 🙂
