This is a continuation of the Bloggers Dessert Experience at the Solaire. After a short visit at Red Lantern, we headed to our next destination – STRIP.
Strip is a well known steakhouse. But we were not here for their steak, we were here to taste the new desserts from their menu which is the Strawberries and Cream and Dark Chocolate Mousse.
The jolly and accommodating Chef Eric Turgeon welcomed us.
He demonstrated how he creates the 2 desserts from the scratch in his well maintained kitchen.
Without further ado, here are the Strips Featured Desserts:
Strawberries and Cream – Chef uses fresh strawberries, shortbread crumble and dry meringue (formed like kisses) with a luxury cream chantilly all in one bite.
I like the fresh strawberries and other ingredients except for one, the red one with the square shape (forgot the name).
Dark Chocolate Mousse – this one is composed of light and airy chocolate mousse, caramel sand, torched banana and roasted macadamia nut.
My co-bloggers and I agreed that the roasted macademia is just like tasting a piece of heaven.
I also like the combination of the dark chocolate mousse and torched banana. The sweetness of these two satisfies my sweet tooth.
I just don’t get the art behind the presentation.
These desserts are priced for P 420.00 each. It is quite expensive for me though. I suggest that you visit Strip, order their steak and give this desserts a try and tell me if it’s worth the price.

Thank you for having us.
