When I decided to be a stay at home mom, I did not continued to pay for my SSS Contribution because I heard that once you continued it lesser than the previous contribution then the latest amount will be the basis of your retirement income. I don’t have a fixed income and I can’t commit to the P1,560 per month contribution (which is the amount reflected on my previous premium), this is the reason why I have decided not to continue to pay for my SSS Contributions anymore.
But my mind changed and I decided to continue my contribution again when I found out about SSS Condonation program. When I left my job 4 years ago , I still have unfinished payment for my SSS Salary loan, I prioritized paying my credit card balances since charges are bigger there, and I forgot my salary loan from SSS until now.

The interest and penalty already reached the total of P4,603.84 since my last payment was March 2008. I know it’s my fault why it skyrocketed to that amount, which is why I will not miss this SSS Condonation opportunity.
I already paid for my 3 months latest contribution. It is not yet posted on the SSS website, so I will just go to the branch tomorrow to file for it personally.

I would like to ask how can i get a copy of my total loan penalties, I am an ofw who left last november 2011. I has a 9k salary loan in SSS. And i wasnt able yet to pay for my 7 mos loan and monthly contribution. I am here in Riyadh. I want to know if there is condonation for voluntary members? Thanks

Gusto po naming mag apply ng loan condonation naming mag asawa,2002 p po kmi nakpag bayad ng huli.pagnag file po ba kami.agad po kming magbabayad ng 3 months contribution,kc wala n po kaming trabahong mag asawa,were only vendor now pero gusto po naming mbyaran ang utang naming loan.at makpaghulog ng voluntary nalang sa abot ng aming makakayanan brakect contribution .Paano po ang magandang proseso ang dapat naming gawin?.

Nag loan ako nung 2006 pa at hindi ko na nabayaran dahil nag abroad ako. Pagbalik ko dito sa Pilipinas, hindi na rin ako nagkatrabaho kaya hindi na nahulugan yung SSS ko. Nag apply ako ng loan condonation sa SSS Pasay mismo kaninang umaga. Binayaran ko yung 3 months contribution pati penalty. Anong mangyayari pagtapos nun? Hindi ko kasi natanong sa nag assess sa akin kasi nagmamadali sya dahil madaming tao. Itutuloy tuloy ko lang ba paghuhulog ng contribution (Php520.00 as voluntary member) at automatic na mababawasan na din ang utang ko? Hindi ko rin alam kung hanggang ilang taon ako magbabayad. Wala ako masyado idea basta inisip ko kelangan ko mag apply ng condonation para mabayaran ang utang ko. Thanks in advance sa reply mo. God bless 🙂

hello po,share ko lng po bout sa SSS ng father ko…last week nagbayad po cya ng 3mnths contribution and penalty nsa 1500 pesos din po ang binayaran niya,,,then pinabalik po cya ngyon para mabayaran ung loan niya na 14,000 pero ang nakakagulat 17thou po ang hinihingi sa kanya ung nadagdag na 3thou is interest daw po un so nasaan ung sinasabi nilang condonation eh may interest parin tapos di ka pa makapagtanong dahil laging nagmamadali….hayyy mdyo naguguluhan na po kami at masakit na cya sa ulo….naway matapos din ng maayos ito God Bless po 🙂

I am not from SSS office nor connected to SSS, so I can’t answer all the inquiries/comment in my blog. I posted that article only to tell my readers that their is an SSS Condonation program. I even posted their that I will go to the SSS office to ask them myself about it. This is my personal blog and NOT an SSS website.

natawa naman ako kay Mr. Orly. Blog po ito ni Ms. Levy and anything that she wanted to write po eh pupwede. Hindi po ito SSS site or blogs, kaso na topic niya kc nga na experience niya and she wanted to share the same thing she did, to us. it so happen lang na maraming nagtatanong sa kanya about it, na parang they thought she is FROM SSS. Lalo naman ata kayong magagalit sa kanya kung magpa as if siyang me alam, hindi po ba?
Ako man ay may salary loan sa SSS ng P24,000 noong Sept. 2009 pa (nasa Call Center pa kasi ako noon kaya malaki ang take-out ko). Never kong nabayaran ito since then pati ang contribution, and the last time (that was yesterday) i checked my online accnt sa SSS eh it ballooned to almost P36,ooo na. haissttt.. my husband also has his own utang sa SSS, almost the same year din, so baka anlaki na rin yun, hehehe.. We’re both OFW po and we’re planning to pay MY SSS loan at hayaan ang sa kanya then yung PAG-IBIG naman niya ang magpapatuloy while yung sa akin ang diko na babayaran. Or vice-versa. what you think? 🙂
ang alam ko may condonation program ang SSS every year sayang naman ang penalty mo (ang laki na). Hindi din umabot yung application ko last year, kasi hindi ko naasikaso pero sana this year meron ulit para makapag apply tayo 🙂
Before i went on vacation last Sept, our embassy told me abt the condonation program, and umabot pa ako nun (Sept. 13 was my flight). I told them i will grab the opportunity but when i was in the Phils already, lahat ng plano nabago since i only have 30 days leave :/
Now that i’m back here, mahal naman ang charge kung ima-monthly ko ang bayad…
and Yeah, P11,000 is P11,000 din.

i have salary loan last 2008 but then was not able to pay it coz i worked abroad. Sept 2009 i came back working here in the phil but i was only able to continue my monthly amortization for my loan last March 2012 including the interest and penalty. while my company is deducting monthly payment on my salary, I applied for condonation last Sept 2012 but was not able to fully settle the balance. now I only have almost P3000 outstanding balance and I am planning to settle it in full expecting that i can avail of the salary loan again only to find out that I cant becuz my name was tagged who avail of the condonation program. I went to SSS pasay and told me to go to the main office and write a letter asking to untagged my name in the condonation program, is this correct?
Ms. Jo, I am glad that you had the chance to avail the condonation program (buti ka pa). I think you should follow what SSS Pasay told you, since sila nakakaalam kung ano dapat mong gawin. Good luck 🙂

I have a question. Ang papa ko po ay may contribution sya sa SSS noon nung may trabaho pa sya. Pero matagal na masyado maybe almost 10 years na siguro na hindi na sya nakapagbayad. Okay po ba na magbayad sya ulit? Makakaavail ba sya ng any loan or benefits from SSS?
