Skinwhite have launched a campaign called #BetterMe to help inspire and empower teen girls and women. I’m so happy to receive sample products from them a few days ago and it came with this personalized pink bag.
Last April, the SkinWhite Captivate Council Culminating Event was held at Romulo Cafe. The girls included in the SkinWhite Council where acknowledged for doing something to be a better version of themselves.
I believe in the quote that you don’t need to compete with anyone but yourself. You can be a better version of yourself physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially etc.
They said that it takes 21 days to form a habit. It’s easy to start doing something but keeping it is a challenge. I for instance have failed many times and I know some of you can relate too. We need a lot of discipline and determination to have something we want to achieve. We need to put in mind the mantra ” I have become what I am today because of what I went through yesterday”.
To share with you, I was a shopaholic before and because of that addiction, I consumed all my credit limits from my 7 credit cards in a flash. When I realized that I’m in big trouble in paying my debts, I studied our current situation and I made myself financially literate. Now, I’m proud to say that I don’t have a credit card debt anymore and I now love to pay in cash. I don’t do impulsive buying too. That’s me version 2.0 🙂

I’m a huge and loyal fan of Skin White body wash and face cream powder. Will give their lotion a try.
That sounds like a wonderful campaign. I think there is so much self doubt for teenage girls these days and it’s important for them to know they are awesome the way they are.
