Last December 14th, Lock & Lock Philippines opens it’s another flagship store down at the south of Metro Manila – the BF Homes Parañaque branch. This is the 8th flagship store of Lock & Lock, their other stores are located at Shangri-la, Eastwood, Glorietta 4, Alabang Town Center, Lucky China Town Mall, Araneta Mega Store and Banilad Town Center Cebu.
I am a huge fan of Lock and Lock items. They are the first products that I saw in the market that offers and guarantees that no food or water will come out of their products even if you toss the container upside down. I also have a set of their food storage that are made with Boroseal (borosilicate glass), which is a great container when microwaving foods compared to any other containers available in the market.
The company have expanded their product lines from water bottles, pitchers, lunch boxes, and now they are offering glass & ceramic wares, huge storage and traveling items.
But why did they decided to open a branch in BF Homes at Paranaque? That was the question I had in my mind when I received the invitation, and I am glad they answered it during the event. They said that since Lock & Lock items are mostly kitchen wares and household items they thought to bring it closer to homes (their target market). A very nice marketing strategy indeed.
