I would like to congratulate Jollibee for the opening of their 800th Store.
To know more about it, here is a Press Release:
Jollibee, the country’s number one fast food chain, marked another milestone with the opening of its 800th outlet in the Philippines located along Fortich Street in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. The homegrown brand dedicates this latest momentous achievement to the thousands of Filipino families who have continued to patronize the brand for more than 35 years now.
“We are proud to have reached another historic point in our 35 years of spreading the joy of eating to our fellow Filipinos. It gives us great satisfaction to provide high-quality, great-tasting products and alagang-Pinoy service to all our valued customers. They are the key to our success, and with our 800th store, we aim to serve even more Filipinos and bring langhap-sarap goodness even to the farthest corners of the Philippines,” said Jollibee Philippines President Joseph Tanbuntiong.
A place for family bonding moments
“Malaybalay is a prime example of a city that’s teeming in natural resources and cultural heritage. The 800th store is already the second for the municipality, with the first store opening more than a decade ago. We are confident in the continuous growth of Malaybalay and the province of Bukidnon and we are committed to provide more Filipinos with a place to bond and share happy moments over langhap-sarap food,” said Ana Aluyen, Jollibee Regional Business Unit Head for Mindanao. The opening of the 1,500-square-meter store, complete with ample parking spaces, al fresco dining and two spacious party areas, was much awaited by Bukidnon locals. The store carries the fresh modern tropical look – the latest in Jollibee’s store concept designs – that fits the verdant landscapes of Bukidnon.
Jollibee President Joseph Tanbuntiong and Malaybalay City Vice Mayor Roland Deticio graced the store opening and took part in activities such as the traditional slicing of a giant Yumburger. A special soil artwork created by artists from the Talaandig tribe was also unveiled as the store’s special commemorative marker. Various cultural groups from Talaandig and Bukidnon tribes also attended the ceremony while local performers added fun and color to the revelries.
Sharing blessings with the community
After the opening program, officers and volunteers from Jollibee’s Mindanao Regional Business Unit conducted a Busog Lusog Talino (BLT) school feeding program at the nearby Malaybalay City Elementary School.
The BLT program of the Jollibee Group Foundation has been helping children since 2007 and has reached more than 40,000 students in more than 100 sites.
