Career driven women are prone to experience mid life pregnancies or conceiving their first born at the age of 35 and beyond. Pregnancy cases for women within this age group run a greater health risk for both mother and child especially for pregnancy after 40. However, there are plenty of precautionary measures that can be taken to facilitate a smooth pregnancy and protect the health of both the mother and the baby.
Women who are into their first pregnancy after the age of 35 should work closely with the doctors to make sure that they get the proper treatment and minimize the risks of miscarriage, birth defects and other complications. My sister-in-law went through the same process of fertility checks, amniocentesis and regular check-ups when she got pregnant at the age of 40. Her hard work and vigilance paid off when she gave birth to a healthy baby girl without any trouble at all.
Her child is now an active and very healthy 7-year old who continues to brighten the lives of people around her.

this means that i conceived KIKO when i was in my 40s already and fortunately, he’s as normal as any child his age. my worries were long gone when i brought him to the world.

I wouldn’t recommend that since our genes deteriorate as we age. So advisable is only before 28
