Today, condo units are rising fast. Condominiums are built to gives you an opportunity to have your own space in an urban location. Condominium are usually built near schools, stores, offices and restaurants that will make living easier. Today, condo units even have amenities like swimming pools, fitness centers and play rooms. They also provide security 24 hours a day. The target market of the Condo developers (particularly the high rise buildings) are students and office workers who have busier lives.
Owning a condo in my opinion is better than renting out. Condos provide a monthly amortization that’s almost the same amount as when you rent an apartment. The good thing here is that you are the owner of your place and that you can sell or oft to rent it to others if you decided to transfer to another place. Your hard earned money will be return to you when you invest in a condo.
For me, the best location if you want to invest in a Condo unit is within the vicinity of high end schools like La Salle and Ateneo. The kind of students who enroll here are those who are in the Class A-C families. And most of them have a house located far from the place. Traveling everyday is stressful.
As a parent, you don’t want them of course to stay in a not so secured location. You still want the best for them and secretly you still want to monitor them. Owning a condo unit at La Salle and Ateneo are advisable instead of a boarding house or an apartment.
If your kids finish school, you can sell the unit or rent it to new students. These schools will be there for a long time and that is a great opportunity to get one as early as now because the condo units will be sold out in less than no time.
