I missed surprises!

I know most of you have watched the Carmina-Zoren surprise wedding already, nakakakilig di ba?. Because of what Zoren did, there are lots of girls who have changed their mind, and now want to have surprised wedding liked Carmina.

I remembered how my ex-boyfriend (now my husband) loved to surprise me before. His first gift to me (a cellphone) was given in a very romantic way. He put the cellphone box inside a bigger box (I mean a very big box!), and while I was digging out what’s inside he played a romantic song that he recorded himself.

Another romantic surprise that he did was when he gave me my engagement ring. He was very creative and unique. He bought a heart shaped Ferrero Chocolate, and since he used to give me one without any occasions (because it is may favorite chocolate) I thought that it was just an ordinary box of chocolate. What I didn’t know was that he put a ring inside one of the chocolate in the middle (it was still sealed perfectly so I didn’t noticed that there was something wrong with the box. Inside there was a message saying “Congratulations you have won!” and when I opened it there was a message that says ” would you be my wife“. I was teary eyed after that and of course I said yes!

Now that we are both staying/working at home, I am missing those kind of surprises.

But then again, it made me think that surprises are great for some but there are some people who don’t like it especially if the gift doesn’t fit their taste. So, for them it is better to give out a list to make sure they really want what will they get. I think it’s kinda practical that way.
