Yesterday, I was invited to attend a food tour called BGC EATS. On the invitation, we were advised that we will visit 4 restaurants in a span of 2 hours so I was like “okay this looks interesting” which made me say Yes!
When I arrived, there were already lots of food bloggers and trad media at the meeting area. We were greeted by YMV PR company and Mr. JJ Yulo.
JJ Yulo is one of the bloggers of Spot.ph and a contributing editor of Rogue. He is also the founder of Pinoy Eats World. He is a regular customer of various establishments of the area and is now giving us an opportunity to also experience the restaurants that he had tried and loved. That is what BGC Eats is all about. It aims to take BGC tourists, patrons and guests to a one of a kind culinary tour and explore the various establishments that you haven’t been too.
We, the media peeps, had the first chance to experience the tour before the public does. The Hop On Hop Off bus is what we used to tour BGC.
We have visited the following restaurants. It was my first time to dine in these restaurants except for Sonjas Cupcake. (Read more about these restaurants on my FOOD BLOG)
- Wild Flour
- Nolita
- 2nd’s Restaurant
- Sonja’s Cupcake
The BGC Eats food tour will happen every Saturday afternoon starting June 29, 2013. It is open to the public.
