We don’t normally celebrate Valentine’s day in a fabulous way. It is a normal day just like any ordinary days for us. Accidentally, it was a day that hubby wanted to have a haircut, since his former boss called him up to visit his former office and teach a new graphic artist. So, we decided to go to SM Southmall to have his hair and my son’s hair to be cut.
We went there during lunch time to avoid the crowd. We had our lunch at the Food Court. Hubby and I decided to try KimBob (will post my review on my food blog soon) while my son had his favorite chicken at Kipp’s Chicken.
After that, they strolled at Toy Kingdom first and then we look for a salon or a barber shop to have their hair cut. My son doesn’t like to have a hair cut because his ears are quite sensitive to loud sound (and also he is quite ticklish), so that is why he doesn’t look happy in this photo.
We also met my blogger friend, Mommy Kat and her daughter at the clinic inside the mall. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of us together.
After their hair cut, we strolled around the mall again and saw the DQ Booth. They offered heart shaped Dily Bar and Ren wanted to have one.
Before we went home, I bought some California maki because I am craving for it for some time now.
Then, that’s it! A very simple Valentine’s get away and yet we were very happy. I agree that you don’t need any material things to make you happy, it is about the people besides you and that happiness comes from within.
How about you? what did you do with your love ones last Valentine’s day?
