Before anything else, I would like to greet you all a very Merry Christmas! Thank you for visiting my site and reading my articles every time I have a new post (which unfortunately it is not often as I want it to be). That is why I would like that to be one of my New Year’s Resolutions. I will try my best to at least post once a day or at least thrice a week next year.
The Year 2014 is said to be the Year of the Wooden Horse. I don’t believe much on superstitions and or predictions but just for fun, let’s see what Feng shui consultant Jean Sy predicts for the coming year 2014.
According to an interview by SunStar, she have mentioned that the Lucky Colors for the year 2014 is blue and yellow which represents water and earth. Colors blue and yellow will balance the “unbalanced” year of the Wooden Horse.
“Sa 2014 kasi ang present lang na elements are the metal, fire and wood and the absence of the water and earth will make it imbalance” she said.
The color blue will enhance the water element, good relationship and communication while color yellow will balance the money, wealth and success.
While an article from fengshui.about.com mentioned that it is recommended to wear the colours of the Wood Feng shui element – all shades of green and brown.
The Chines New Year will be celebrated on the day of my birthday, which means it’s a holiday (as if I am affected hahaha).
I am excited for the year 2014. I am considering these lucky color predictions but I believe more in God’s work. I know He will bring more blessings to me and to my family by next year and I am looking forward for that.

Same here sis I don’t believe with predictions. Whatever wooden horse will bring LUCK or not it is up to us to take it or not.
Our life journey brings us face to face with ourselves, we rather accept the responsibilities of what we can’t ignore.
