We went to Ayala Triangle today to witness the Caracol Festival 2012.
What is Caracol you might ask? It is the official festival of the city that is organized by the Makati Local Government through it’s Museum and Cultural Affairs office to raise awareness on the importance of preserving our natural resources. Since Makati is known for being the country’s leading city, they continuously encourage the community to take part in caring for our environment.
Various students from the City did not take this Sunday day-off but instead they cheerfully joined the parade and dressed up like flowers, animals, insects, trees, plants and even fairies like this one.
The Makati Government are doing their best to enliven their city and Ayala Land supports this festival and will undertake more exciting events and development projects in the future through MAKE IT HAPPEN. MAKE IT MAKATI campaign.
This project looks exciting. My family always visits Makati since it’s very near to our place and we are looking forward to see other exciting events here in the future.

If it wasn’t for my bad back last Sunday, I should have been there too. Good thing they allowed people to take photographs of the people in costumes ^_^
